I am trying to install R-3.3.0 on Xenial. I followed the instructions on the corresponding CRAN page, and I added the GPG key. But after adding deb https://cran.at.r-project.org//bin/linux/ubuntu xenial/ to /etc/apt/sources.list and sudo apt-get update I get the following error:
Err:7 https://cran.at.r-project.org//bin/linux/ubuntu xenial/ Packages SSL: certificate subject name (*.r-project.org) does not match target host name 'cran.at.r-project.org’ What do I need to do to get rid of this error
