Thanks a lot for the solution. I always use the Windows system, but I
wasn't aware of this setting before.

Hi all,
I rarely use Windows, but noticed that Rgui itself and plots under Windows
using the windows() plotting device looked very fuzzy even with a 4k
resolution. This seems to be related to DPI scaling, since the system was using
200% scaling (so that things aren't super tiny). If I change the high DPI
settings for Rgui (Properties, Compatibility, Change high DPI settings, High
DPI scaling override, Application), then things are nice and crisp. Is this
common knowledge for Windows people? If not, should this be documented
somewhere, like the Windows FAQ?
Best,
Wolfgang
