In retrospect, Peter is absolutley correct. It is not ok. And EI-JI Nakama <nakama (a) ki.rim.or.jp> has pointed out some other infelicities in sprintf() on Windows systems. So I am going to bow out of this discussion and get some much needed sleep (12:23am PDT). I am sure that by the time I get up in the morning, the experts will have it figured out.
