I am using survreg from the survival package to run a left censored tobit model on non-survival data. I have to four questions that I hope someone can help me with:
1) Is there anything I should take into consideration when using frailty() to estimate random intercepts? 2) Is there anyway of extracting the estimated intercepts produced by survreg when using frailty()? 3) Can someone point me to documentation on how to interpret the log(scale) coefficient produced by survreg, particularly in a none survival context? 4) Is there now another (simpler) package that will estimate multilevel tobit models in R? Thank you for your time and consideration. Anthony ----------------------------------------------- Anthony A. After awhile, I finally asked if they made sense to him and he said no, "I think they're just there to keep the riffraff out." [[alternative HTML version deleted]]
