Hi Duncan,
   I tried:

> browseURL("http://www.r-project.org";)
Error in shell.exec(url) : access to 'http://www.r-project.org' denied

As you can see, that elicited a similar error. I'm running R version 2.10.1
(I uninstalled my old version of R and reinstalled a fresh copy today before
emailing the list).

I installed MySQL, but I get the same error.

My operating system is Windows 7 64-bit.

Any ideas?

Best,
Jonathan
