I assume you installed WinEdt 6. See https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/r-help/2010-May/238540.html and related messages. RWinEdt does not work (yet) with WinEdt 6, so you'll have to downgrade back to WinEdt 5.x (or use another editor for the time being). HTH, Michael
