Dear All, I would like to ask the following:
a colleague is using R 1.8.1 for Windows XP on his laptop. The keboard is the standard Italian layout, which is missing the ~ (tilde) key. For reasons unknown, typing <Ctrl> <Alt> 126, which I understand is the standard ASCII code, does not produce the desired symbol (any combination of keys seems to fail...)
