I heard of this problem mentioned by one staff member here, but he suspected it was to do with Windows XP's patch. When the technician told us about getting the patches for Windows, Rgui started to crash. But then a few days later a new patch by Microsoft was released and after installing the new patch, the problem was solved. As a result, the staff member suspected it's the problem with Microsoft but now it may have been solved.
