Don't know, sorry. But looking at the comment in http://cran.r-project.org/contrib/extra/ffnet/ReadMe it would appear that one needs additional sources to build ffnet. Also, if the package built reliably, it would probably reside in the main part of CRAN rather than in the contrib/extra directory.
