[R] Multiple instances of R shell in Mac OS X 10.3?

Wondering if there's a way to do this. I'm not referring to running Rterm from OSX terminal, but actually running multiple instances of the R command shell within the OS X GUI...

I have R v2.0.1, OS X 10.3.8.
