HI Robert,

Of course Linux already has a console! Just type R in the Terminal console and R will start (assuming all is installed correctly). Graphics will be launched in separate windows.

If you want more then the Terminal console, try:

Good luck,

Sander.

Hello all,

I noticed that both Windows and OS X version of R have a GUI (Rconsole). Is there a GUI for Linux? I'm running Debian on which the CLI for R works just fine.

Regards,
- Robert
