Extract Microarray technology is complex, and experiments using microarrays are resource-intensive. As such, there is an urgent need for rigorous, statistical design and analysis of microarray experiments; and many scientists, computational biologists and statisticians are making important contributions. S-PLUS(r), R and the Bioconductor project include many statistical and graphical methods that are appropriate in the analysis of microarray data. Course Objectives 1.
