Hi Dieter, I am facing the same problem in my case. R 2.4.1 have installed successfully, but when i try to install the packages from a local zip file. It gives the following error message. Please tell me how to install the packages in a corporate environment. I mean i could not understand your reply, may you be a bit more elaborate so that i can fix up the problem in my corporate laptop.]

Main problem seems to be the installation of chm-files when upgrading. I had to switch off all security mechanisms to get it done. Which is probably not what you would like to have in a corporate environment. As a temporary workaround, it would probably be best to optionally disable chm installation. Or do a poll if is is required, after all it's considered a legacy format nowadays.
