I think the Mac page on CRAN points to something obsolete. From the R GUI, CarbonEL is visible. You can also find the source on SourceForge using Google. However, it didn't work for me: I still get the "interactivity reduced" message, and when I try to plot something, just an error "CGGSStackRestore: gstack underflow." This is in R in a terminal, with sessionInfo reporting: R version 2.5.0 (2007-04-23) i386-apple-darwin8.9.1 with CarbonEL "0.1-3".
