Thank you for this simple solution. It works well in R.app (R 2.5.1 GUI 1.20 (4535) (4535)), but I can't figure out how to make it work in my Aquamacs+ESS. When I attempt to set the locale, I get an error message. Any thoughts are appreciated.
Sys.setlocale("LC_CTYPE", "greek") [1] "" Warning message: OS reports request to set locale to "greek" cannot be honored in: Sys.setlocale("LC_CTYPE", "greek") Cheers, Hank On Jul 31, 2007, at 3:00 PM, Prof Brian Ripley wrote: > On Tue, 31 Jul 2007, Martin Henry H.
