Thank you. I wasn't aware of this bug report [1] but definitely what I encountered while working on the feature, and for CI testing.
My understanding is similar to Jeroen, and I believe it will solve itself once the new version is made available. Is the following step to reply to the CRAN teams after automated checks to explain the situation ?
