There are lots and lots of packages larger than 5mb -- see eg https://cran.r-project.org/src/contrib/?C=S;O=D which has a top-5 of rcdklibs 19mb fastrmodels 15mb prqlr 15mb RFlocalfdr 14mb acss.data 14mb and at least one of those is also Rust-using and hence a possible template.
