Getuilo,

We need some more information in order to be helpful.

Which version of Ubuntu?
i386 or amd64?
What mirror are you using in your sources.list?

I had no problem installing R 2.9.0 on a fresh jaunty install, so a little more information is needed.

Dear All,

I installed R with the commands

 sudo apt-get update
 sudo apt-get install r-base
 sudo apt-get install r-base-dev

But when I try install.packages() to install the package rimage it does
not work. Please let me know what should I do?

Ys,
Getulio
