Thanks for the info, Dirk. I will consider the options.

In the same line: how is the project, of making all packages on CRAN
available in an Ubuntu repository going on? Any eta?

True - I realized that after reading the warning for the 5th time, but
still, it is annoying, and I prefer to work without warnings.
