Hi everyone Instats is excited to offer a 3-day seminar, Observational Research Design and Analysis <https://instats.org/seminar/observational-research-design-and-analys>, livestreaming December 8–10 and led by professor Lauren Wisnieski. Observational studies are indispensable for answering non-randomizable questions, generating hypotheses, and providing real-world evidence, and this workshop guides participants from study design to analysis and STROBE-aligned reporting while tackling bias, confounding, and DAG-based causal reasoning. Over three half-day sessions, Professor Wisnieski combines focused lectures, hands-on exercises, and critiques of published work to equip researchers with the skills to build defensible protocols, implement appropriate multivariable strategies, and critically appraise observational findings.
