Dear all, We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for our upcoming online course: Dealing with Messy Data in R: Data Cleaning and Visualisation Dates: online, 8–10 April 2026
Course website: [ https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/messy-data/ ]( https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/messy-data/ ) Real-world data is often messy, inconsistent, and difficult to analyse. This hands-on course provides a practical introduction to loading, cleaning, transforming, and visualising tabular data in R using the tidyverse and ggplot2. Participants will learn to build clear, effective, and publication-ready visualisations while developing confidence working with complex datasets. In this course, attendees will learn how to: Load, inspect, and clean messy data with tidyverse tools Handle missing values, recode variables, and reshape data Combine multiple tables for integrated analysis Apply the grammar of graphics Produce high-quality plots using ggplot2 Customise colours, themes, labels, and layouts Create accessible and colourblind-friendly figures Export visualisations for reports and publications Best regards, Carlo -------------------- Carlo Pecoraro, Ph.D Physalia-courses DIRECTOR [email protected] mobile: +49 17645230846 [ Bluesky ]( https://bsky.app/profile/physaliacourses.bsky.social ) [ Linkedin ]( https://www.linkedin.com/in/physalia-courses-a64418127/ ) [[alternative HTML version deleted]] _______________________________________________ R-sig-ecology mailing list [email protected] https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-sig-ecology
