Dear colleagues, Transmitting Science is offering a new edition of the course "Web Scraping and Text Analysis in R".

The course will cover the extraction of data from web sources, processing textual data via NLP techniques, tokenization, sentiment-analysis, and visualisation of results. By the end of the course, students will be able to: * Understand the process of web scraping and text preprocessing in R. * Retrieve, clean, and analyse textual data from web sources. * Visualize and report insights from text-data. Instruction will combine lectures, guided examples, and practical exercises.
