this is because gstat::krigeST assumes at this moment that the space-time variogram is separable, exploits the benefits when the data form a full space-time lattice (STFDF). We have developed some scripts for more generic ST variograms (or separable for non STFDF data), e.g. metric and product-sum, but these have not yet been integrated in gstat (or somewhere else in R). > > _______________________________________________ > R-sig-Geo mailing list > [email protected] > https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-sig-geo > -- Edzer Pebesma Institute for Geoinformatics (ifgi), University of Münster Weseler Straße 253, 48151 Münster, Germany.
