Hello
I'm analyzing road mortality data which was collected as binary data (ie
presence/pseudoabsence). I am new to spatial data, and thus have been
struggling when trying to assess spatial autocorrelation. I've tried to use
spline correlograms because they are robust with binary data, but am not sure
if I'm violating any assumptions since I'm dealing with quasi one-dimensional
data. Also, the data was not sampled at evenly spaced intervals, but rather the
mortalities ("presence") were measured where they occured, and the
"pseudo-absence" locations were randomly generated.
Does anybody have suggestions as to how to proceed? Any help highly appreciated!
Thank you very much,
Mirjam
