I have an opening for a Senior Programmer in Central New Jersey with a large Pharmaceutical company.
Senior Programmer needed to create applications for automating statistical analyses and creating reports. The candidate will generate user requirements, develop and write code, and take the lead in the validating the applications. The primary emphasis will be on creating applications to automate the process from database through analysis and reporting for standard study designs. Minimum requirements: Five years programming experience in SAS, one year programming experience in an object-oriented language, such as C++ or R. Experience in developing user requirements and knowledge of software testing and validation. Excellent communication and documentation skills. MS in statistics preferred. Course work or training in at least one programming language other than SAS is a plus. Ideally they want someone to: • Pull data from Oracle • Pull info from Excel file • Perform analysis in SAS, create tables • From SAS call R and create graphs in R • Generate report with verbiage, tables, and text - report may be Word, RTF, or PDF Remember if you are not interested, but know of someone who is, we have a 1000.00 referral fee if we place the person and they are not currently working with us.
