Dear Robert, If I understand you correctly, you had to agree to the Xcode license in order to get the tcltk and Rcmdr packages to work. That wasn't my experience. Is it possible that you did something else, like rebooting your computer after installing XQuartz?
The reason I ask is that I want to understand what went wrong in case someone else has a similar problem in future.
