Hi everyone, I ran
hist(rnorm.halton(n=100, dimension=1),plot=TRUE) on the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of R (package: "fOptions"). http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/fOptions/index.html The results are dramatically different. The 32 bit version is as expected (same as 32 bit Windows), the 64 bit is not. I recently switched from Windows to Mac OS X, so this might just be my own fault. I used install.packages("fOptions") from the R GUI to install the package. May I request some one else to check and confirm if this is a bug. Suggested fixes would also be greatly appreciated if it is. Thanks!
