[R-SIG-Mac] Detecting GUI vs console?

  Hi all.  I've started using mclapply(), which doesn't work well in  
the GUI.  I'd like to protect my code against mistakes by checking for  
whether I'm running under the GUI or the console.  Is there a standard  
way to do this?
