Hello R-SIG-PHYLO members

Instats is offering a new 1-day seminar Deep Learning for Complex Datasets with
AI 3.0 livestreaming March 2, led by Nikolay Oskolkov (Group Leader (PI) at
LIOS). This seminar explores deep learning techniques for analyzing complex
datasets, offering methods to uncover intricate patterns and hidden structures
within large biological data. Researchers in phylogenetics can leverage these
advanced approaches, including neural network architectures and autoencoders
implemented with R and assisted by ChatGPT, to model evolutionary processes,
integrate multi-omics data for tree inference, or reduce dimensionality in
comparative analyses. Participants will gain practical skills in applying
convolutional and recurrent neural networks to sequential and genomic data,
enhancing their capacity to derive novel insights from their own R-based
phylogenetic and comparative research projects.

Sign up today
(https://instats.org/seminar/deep-learning-for-complex-datasets-with-4) to
secure your spot, and please share this opportunity with colleagues and
students who might benefit!

Best wishes
