Hello Tony, This is because the file format is not accepted. You should have a clear message in red telling that the "upload is denied because the file extension is not accepted" at the top of the upload page.
Here is the list of accepted extensions (file formats): jpg image/jpeg jpeg image/jpeg gif image/gif png image/png tgz application/octet-stream tar application/x-gtar gz application/octet-stream zip application/zip pdf application/pdf txt text/plain html text/html htm text/html xml text/xml swf application/x-shockwave-flash r application/r rd application/rd plus a couple of other, less common ones. The .svg extension is not in this list because not all Web browsers support this extension. I suggest to convert your file into one of the supported formats. If you would like to keep it in vector format, convert it into .pdf or, better, .swf. Also, if you change the name of the file, do not forget to place the right extension at the end of the new name.
