That mention of our struggle with the coexistence of science with faith 
is refreshing.  My own sense of the connection between the technological 
and the theological seems to fit the Indian model in some unexpected 
ways -- I guess I'm comfortable (although forever amazed) with the 
complete harmony of the two.  But I'm not quite into the lunar 
reflection in the bowl of oil or that long ladder -- /pace/ Arthur C. 
Clarke and his elevator.
