We're meeting tonight and the Pittsford Barnes and Noble at 7pm to discuss the Nebula nominees. We'll take our own vote, concentrating on the short stories.
At our May 5th meeting, we'll have a speaker, Katherine McGuire, an attorney, partner at Woods Oviatt Gilman, and Practice Leader of the Intellectual Property, Licensing, and Technology Department there. http://tinyurl.com/cc77r8 She will go over the basics in copyright, how new media are changing it, and digital rights management technologies. This will be a very interesting discussion, relevant to our individual efforts as well as the group's mission, and I hope you all can make it.
