Something Awful is a well-named website of satire. On Fridays, they post a selection from their forums titled "Photoshop Phriday" where they modify images for a different purpose entirely. This week is "Making Reading Fun Through Trickery":
http://www.somethingawful.com/d/photoshop-phriday/literal-book-covers.php Books don't come up too often in their themes, one of my favorite book- related themes was covered in several series where they would modify the covers of children's books for, well to put it plainly, juvenile, perverted versions. http://www.somethingawful.com/d/photoshop-phriday/childrens-books.php http://www.somethingawful.com/d/photoshop-phriday/childrens-books2.php http://www.somethingawful.com/d/photoshop-phriday/childrens-books-all.php The children's books may very well be "not safe for work" if you're working for a particularly nosy and prudish company -- while the images aren't pornographic, the topics would most definitely not be appropriate around the water cooler. ---Jason Olshefsky --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "R-SPEC: The Rochester Speculative Literature Association" group.
