Yah, I don't doubt it. This stuff is a puzzler, and not likely to stop being so. Dave definitely sent them out. Most likely, yours and Jason's got blocked as spam somewhere.
It gets harder and harder all the time to be reasonably sure that someone is going to get your messages. At work, I have a fair degree of control over the global spam filter, so I can make sure that we get anything our clients send us from their own domain. But anything from a commonly used domain (like rochester.rr.com or gmail.com) could potentially get blocked as spam.
