Hello everyone! How is everyone doing? I know, I know, I've been almost completely non-existent since I left Rochester, but I haven't forgotten R-Spec! In fact, I miss R-spec and the writing groups more than just about anything else (except maybe Wegmans). And while I haven't posted here in forever, I've been procrastinating, hoping to have such good news to share such as the fact that I finally got a job in Boston, my whole reason for leaving in the first place.
Well, I finally got a job in Boston! It only took ten months, thank you very much residual Republican economy! And the exciting part is that it's extra pertinent to R-spec. As of next week, I'll be working for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing, so I will essentially be surrounded by books all the time. Which is pretty exciting and far more interesting and far less confusing than the optics equipment I used to be surrounded by. Anyways, things have been a bit of a frenzy here lately, as I'm in the process of trying to pack, start a new job, move, etc etc etc, but I just wanted to drop a note and let everyone know I'm still alive. I hope to make it back to Rochester one of these days, hopefully when the Antho gets launched, if not earlier. Say hi to the writing folks beyond the board for me! -Lynz --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "R-SPEC: The Rochester Speculative Literature Association" group.
