Hello all!
We'll be meeting next Tuesday, February 2, at 7pm at the Pittsford
Barnes and Noble. We'll spend a few minutes at the beginning going
over some business, including electing members to the board. Jonathan
has indicated that he'd like a board position. If anybody else would
like to step up and provide some motive force, this is your opportunity.
We'll go over projects underway, most notably 2034: Writing
Rochester's Futures and the next anthology, and projects proposed,
including an Alternative Rochesters anthology. R-SPEC still needs some
new ideas, new activities, and new approaches. One idea that has been
floated is moving our meetings out of Barnes and Noble and into
members' homes, at least some of the time. What do you think?
The rest of Tuesday's meeting will be social, getting a chance to
catch up with each other. It's been ages (Astronomicon?) since many of
us had a chance to talk.
Come on out. It'd be great to get together.
