Hello all spec fickers! (Oh, geez, I've gotta get a better name than that) Tuesday we're going to talk about the Nebula ballot, but there's more. I would really appreciate it if everyone would try their best to make it because I'd like us to talk about the future of R-SPEC. Alicia has done a tremendous job the last two years, so I'd like to build on what she's started. I'd like to talk about how to make the meetings more interesting. Back before the Barnes & Noble days, we all got together every month at each other's houses and had a great time. It was like a dinner party every month. Do we need that kind of atmosphere again? Have we lost something important by "going public" at B&N? What are some goals R-SPEC might aspire to in the next year or two? What are some new ways to fulfill our mission? What about a better Con presence? What are some new ways to expand our ranks?
These and many more questions to be fielded and wielded this Tuesday.
