Dirtbag. Interesting that he calls himself a librarian simply because he has a collection of books. I'd be willing to bet he's not a real librarian--respect for copyright comes with the job, even among the most "radical" librarians. He's kinda like a drug dealer who calls himself a pharmacist.
Also, it's interesting to note that he is not putting these works up there for free because of his love for the stories. The way he's worded his page heading says it all: "Open Season on SF Scribblers The Burgomeister has declared Open Season on these carefully chosen SF hacks. Access here is totally unrestricted - no quotas! No limits! Do whatever you like with these damn pulps. Tell your friends, neighbours, co-workers, boss, hairdresser, manicurist, masseur... Have at them turkeys!" -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, March 31, 2010 11:48 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Nancy Kress vs. the Pirates: http://futurismic.com/2010/03/26/a-dialogue-with-a-book-pirate/ Frank Check out my web page at: http://www.geocities.com/stardolphin2/link3.htm "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use." - Galileo Galilei ____________________________________________________________ Scottrade® Online Trading $7 Online Stock Trades - No Share Limit. $500 Minimum To Start http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL3141/4bb58255e7458d476m07duc -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "R-SPEC: The Rochester Speculative Literature Association" group.
