Steve & all --

Publicity isn't my bailiwick, so I can't speak to the mass publicity
efforts.

However, much as we would like to have them, we don't need more details to
do the most important thing with regard to publicity, which is to spread it
by word of mouth.*

So I would encourage everyone to invite anyone they think might be
interested. If you have specific questions (will there be food? wine?
clowns? internet access?), come back and ask them, but don't let that stop
you from planning to come or inviting your friends or family!

(In fact, as soon as I'm done writing this I'll start a questions thread so
people can ask questions about specific details. *Please: Don't ask
questions by replying to this message -- reply to the "Questions About..."
message instead.*)

What we know now (I'll repost this in the questions thread):

   - Date & Time: July 31, 4pm
   - Location: Mood Makers Books in Village Gate.
   - Will there be book sales? Yes; Nick (who is working with the owner) is
finalizing whether those will be through us or the store.
   - Will there be authors? You tell us ;-). I'll be there, so will Alicia
and Nick, and can we pencil in Steve...?
   - Will there be readings? Not sure, probably, but let's have volunteers
   anyway.

For more, see follow-ups to the questions thread (coming momentarily).

*Believe it or not, Word of Mouth is the new frontier in marketing. Whole
heaps of theory behind it. Ask me sometime.
