We'll be meeting tomorrow, Tuesday August 3rd, at 7pm at the Pittsford
Barnes and Noble. We'll be discussing the short fiction nominees for
the Hugo Award. You can find podcasts of the stories for free at
Escape Pod, although you'll recognize a lot of the nominees from the
Nebula ballot. You may have heard and/or read them already. I LOVED
Will McIntosh's Bridesicle, although I'm betting that Spar, that
Juggernaut of a piece, will take the Hugo. What do you all think? Come
on out and we'll dig into it.
Also, we'll have a round-up of R-SPEC news and go around the circle at
the end of the meeting to discuss current fiction - what we're all
reading and writing. If you have a SHORT passage of something
brilliant, bring it along and share it with the group.
