Book trailers were all the rage a couple of years ago. The trailer for Naomi Klein's *Disaster Capitalism* made a big splash. Nancy's book where she kills off all the dogs had a trailer. I think they're usually more mundane, now -- e.g., the trailer for Gibson's latest is just him reading some of Bigend's dialog over some chunky guitar riffs and trippy animations. But I also get the impression they're regarded as a pretty standard part of the marketing package, now. (Better still if the author can provide one...)
