Apologies for late reminder of the topic(s) for May's meeting, this coming Tuesday. This month, we'd like to try out something Rob Tyler proposed at the last meeting, which we've been variously calling "bring your problem" or "what's your problem." Frank Glover had shared a recent success in getting past a tough plot point, which inspired Rob to suggest that we could bring our story problems to the group for suggestions. Not a formal workshopping -- more just a loose discussion of ways to get past anything that's blocking you.
If this works out, we might take time every session, before or after we talk about what we're working on. In addition, we'll have some updates on Eericon, and we'll save time to discuss the Nebula nominees. (We don't expect people to have read them this time -- we never got that organized for it, hopefully we'll be better prepared for the Hugos.) If there's interest, we'll run a straw poll on the short stories. -- -- eric scoles | [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "R-SPEC: The Rochester Speculative Literature Association" group.
