Amen.   SXML (Scheme onto case-sensitive XML), scsh (Scheme onto 
case-sensitive filesystems), and any number of FFIs (Scheme onto 
case-sensitive identifiers in other languages) are all much less 
pleasant with case-insensitive readers.
