IMHO the right thing to do to understand syntax-rules is to read the "Syntax-Rules Primer For The Merely Eccentric" until you can no longer follow it. At that point you know all you are ready to absorb, and probably all you need to know to solve your current problem. When you have a problem you can't solve, go back and read it again, starting from the beginning. I have never actually reached the end with understanding, but I haven't needed to: syntax-rules is a much underestimated tool. -- John Cowan [email protected] http://www.ccil.org/~cowan Is it not written, "That which is written, is written"? _______________________________________________ r6rs-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.r6rs.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/r6rs-discuss
