I have added various new columns to the feature groups spreadsheet at <http://tinyurl.com/feature-groups>. Essential Scheme is described at http://lists.r6rs.org/pipermail/r6rs-discuss/2009-September/004638.html .
At <http://tinyurl.com/thing-one>, I have added make-list from SRFI-1 for symmetry with the other make-* constructors. I have also added rational-expt for use when expt is not available or undesirable: its arguments must be a rational number and a non-negative integer respectively, which confines the range to be rational. I have definitively abandoned any attempt to propose standard custom ports or date and time services. SRFI-19 is well-accepted, but the primitives on which it depends are not (only PLT and Chicken have them); other systems presumably implement the SRFI using their own primitives. I have put % signs in front of the feature group names so as not to confuse them with bound identifiers. I have renamed the %flonums feature group (which controls the transcendental functions) to %inexact. I have also migrated load (which previously required both the %files and the %eval features) to its own feature group. There have been various other minor modifications. In any case, <http://tinyurl.com/thing-one> and the document it links to always represent the state of what I have proposed at any given time. -- John Cowan [email protected] http://ccil.org/~cowan I come from under the hill, and under the hills and over the hills my paths led. And through the air. I am he that walks unseen. I am the clue-finder, the web-cutter, the stinging fly.
