Based on my understanding of the release process (still learning the ropes, Ryan correct me if I'm wrong), we don't usually provide pre-release installers until the 15th of a release month. Looking back at the email I sent on the 7th, I can see how one could get the impression that they'd be available earlier (keyword: "shortly"). If my understanding of the process is correct, I'll fix the email template to make the timing clearer.
