Alex, As such library upgrades can cause breakage, it would be best to do it right after the release. That way we have a full release cycle to discover and fix any issues that may arise.
I plan to look into it after the release, but if you're interested in investigating, that would be great! The process mostly involves downloading newer sources, running scripts in "racket/src/native-libs" on suitable platforms, and updating the library packages (which I can do for you).
