Begging not necessary, as I am a fan of subtle hyperlinking (despite the hate 
mail that it has historically provoked — sorry internet, I'm standing my 
ground). But in the docs, links are distinguished by color, and underlining 
reserved only for hovering. I believe external links are colored lighter gray; 
I think this could be applied to tech links also.
