How concerned should I be about performing a long and documented list of parsing proxy variables when net/URL is required?
Remember that, only last week, it was up to the user to set current-proxy-servers manually. Now I’m already string-splitting and URL parsing environment variables. I don’t want this process to become (too) bloated.
