Looks like Linux people are seeing the firewire vulnerability as a tunnel
for directly accessing the whole memory remotelly.

A suse guy has implemented a gdb proxy via firewire to remotelly debug
the kernel supporting System.map and so

FireProxy:

  http://www.suse.de/~bk/firewire/README.txt
  http://www.suse.de/~bk/firewire/fireproxy-0.34.tar.gz

FireScope:

  http://ftp.riken.go.jp/pub/Linux/suse/people/ak/firescope/firescope-0.2.tar.gz
  http://www.suse.de/~bk/firewire/firescope/firescope.c

Any feedback? :)
